With diverse vegetation and terrain of great elevation gradients, Taiwan provides many varieties of habitats for wildlife inhabitation.
Therefore, it has one of the highest bat diversity in the world in terms of species density.
So far, at least 37 species of bats has been recorded, and more new species are still expected.
Taiwan is truly a bat paradise!
